This paper analyzes the sampling frequency offset and its impact on performance of orthogonal frequency division multi—plexing (OFDM) systems and proposes a kind of differential algorithm (DA). The traditional algorithm, least square (LS) algorithm and simplified algorithm (SA), whose Bit Error Rate (BER) is affected seriously by carrier phase offset or little carrier frequency offset. Based on the IEEE 802.1la protocol, the simulation results on MATLAB show that the DA algorithm has a better BER and less fluctuation compared with LS and SA algorithm.
