The product design process, as a whole, is seen as a dynamic process in continuous changing, a process that can be continuous improved. The design process is based on different design models, methods and tools. Our research aim is to develop a methodology for innovative product design. We propose a holistic model, combining Pahl and Beitz's systematic model and Nam Suh's axiomatic design model. The corroboration of these two models is realized through the integration of existing design methods and tools. Finally, an innovative product design platform is proposed to support the integration and an application shows its utility for the conceptual design phases.
