LDPC encoded system always works at low signal-to-noise level because of excellent performance of LDPC Codes. The extrinsic information is available in the progress of BP algorithm. According to a Maximum Likelihood Estimation strategy, we proposed an iterative carrier phase estimation algorithm based on extrinsic information. The key idea is to make iterative use of the extrinsic information generated in the LDPC Codes decoding iterations, which is usually used to improve the decoding iteratively. The overall effect greatly improved the BER performance.
