Reducing the out of band energy leakage is one of the methods to reduce interference between adjacent channel and to improve the bandwidth efficiency. In order to speed up the continuous phase modulation signal's roll-off rate of the spectrum, the introduction of a sine and cosine function to control the phase change trajectory of the modulated signal. In contrast with traditional signal, the very signal's phase trajectory is smoother. The result figure generated by MATLAB for the spectrum of the normalized base-band signal shows that: the method proposed in this paper has achieved a better out of band leakage performance for the signal than MSK as expected.
