Based on the Arduino development platform, an Embedded Web Server (EWS) remote PID temperature monitor and control system is designed by utilizing AVR 8 bit microprocessor. Simulated and verified by Proteus, using a web browser as the client, the system builds the two-way communication between Internet interface and web server. The system realizes the function of remote control and monitor and provides remote control personnel with Graphical User Interface (GUI) to acquire the heated object's temperature, PID control temperature and control heater's on-off state. Compared with the traditional switch control, the efficacy of the system in achieving its remote monitor and control goals is greatly improved. The simulations show that the range errors are within 0.005 and the maximum overshoot is within 10%. The system is valued to Home Appliance Network (HAN), network transmission, remote monitor and control, temperature control, information electrical appliance and other fields.
