35 Target Detection Based on Filter in Frequency-Domain on Fractional Fourier

The paper analysis's the echo signal of the target in sea and a method based on filter in frequency-domain on FRFT is proposed. The method intercalates a band-pass filter in frequency-domain to filter the signal in frequency-domain, and then the filter can filter part clutter. After that transform the signal from frequency-domain to time domain, at this time FRFT can be better detect the target. Experiment using the IPIX data shows that the method of paper has remarkably advantage in increasing the signal-clutter FRFT peak value difference and enhancing the SCR. When the SCR is reduced to −9.5dB, the method can still detect targets easily.
