The paper presents a study of the knowledge development in the ergonomics research field, based on the integration of the co-operant sciences: engineering, management, work safety, labor medicine, informatics etc., for solving complex problems related to occupational risks assessment, by using methods and tools of knowledge management. The complexity of the proposed approach is demonstrated by its multidisciplinary way of dealing with the thematic and by the methods applied to estimate the results (using modern tools of information and communication technologies and knowledge management).
