Cascaded hydro-power stations need to meet not only the operation of power system requirements, but also to focus on the rational utilization of water resources and give full play to the operational features of cascaded hydropower stations to maximize overall efficiency. In order to adapt to the actual situations and constraints of the cascaded hydropower stations, optimal generating scheduling models of cascade hydropower stations are constructed on multiple aspects. Based on traditional optimization algorithm, combining with actual situation, optimization algorithm of both efficiency and quality is considered, which can be reference for deeply studying on the optimal dispatching of cascaded hydropower stations.
