85 Study on Object Recognition Method Based on the Combination of Zernike Moment Invariants and BP Neural Network

To improve the abilities of intelligence and automation in project recognition area, a new visual recognition method is projected. Firstly, normalize the position and scale of object images. Secondly, zoom in/out, rotating the images, then calculate their Zernike moment invariant features and using which as train sets and test sets for BP neural network. Finally, recognize targets .Test shows the projected method is efficient and reliable and robust to target image's rotation, movement and scale change.
