Defining a collision between two or more objects in virtual environments involves two major problems which are the accuracy of the detection and the speed of the collision to occur. However, one of the interesting methods that are capable to increase the accuracy of detection area is by using hierarchical approach. In this paper, we introduce an improvement of hierarchical approach called Bounding-Volume Hierarchies.
