This paper presents an experimental work for T-shaped concrete-filled steel tube core columns subjected to axial-compression. The mechanical properties of T-shaped concrete-filled steel tube core columns subjected to axial-compression are studied. The test specimens include three T-shaped concrete-filled steel tube core columns of different diameters of steel tube. Obtained the load-displacement curves and load- strain curves of steel tube and load- strain curves of steel bar, realized the destroyed shapes of T-shaped concrete-filled steel tube core columns. Analysis influences of the different diameters of steel tube on the limited load bearing capacity of axial-compression and the distortion of steel bar. It is found: within the scope of the test, the greater diameters of steel tube, the greater of the test specimen load bearing capacity of axial-compression. The results of experiment are prepared for contrasting to the results of calculated by finite element.
