In this paper, we propose Visual Data Analytics (VDA) system as a tool for semantic reasoning based on ontology, through which the Hierarchy of Attributes and Concepts (HAC) can be graphically represented. The VDA is designed to represents attributes, concepts, and their relationships visually and conceptually. In this way, users can quickly search and identify the existence of attributes, concepts and their relationships for semantic reasoning. This system allows users to see and understand concept clusters visually as an effective concept modeling tool. Furthermore, this VDA system allows users to dynamically update the concept models in a selected domain by permitting the deletion and addition of the attributes or concepts to support the dynamic representation of relations between the attributes and concepts. The VDA is applied in a preventive health care domain to demonstrate its effectiveness.
