In this paper, the eco-culture of Chinese traditional architectural art is analyzed from the angle of the relationship between architecture and eco-culture, examples are given and analysis is made on the typical form of architecture and the arrangement form of courtyard house in the Xi'an Banpo and the Yangshao culture site and the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River in north China as well as the forms of folk houses in the northern and western border areas, and the enlightenment of eco-culture of traditional architectural art to modern urban ecological construction is proposed, that is, modern urban ecological construction should absorb such four major ecological viewpoints as systemization, naturalization, economization and humanization of traditional architectural art.
