Biotreatment of Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is extensively studied for it's economically viable. In order to optimization the biotrickling filter capacity, microbial selection, support media options and optimization, tower design and appropriate operating conditions are usually taken into account. Get results from the simulation experiment, bacteria isolate and using as dominant species in biofilm can achieve stable industrial technique with loss cost. Modified ceramic has advantage of H2S removal as filler with good microbial attachment and growth. Cross-flowing horizontal biotrickling filter has faster removal of pollutants in the filter to maintain the smooth flow suitable for handling the low H2S concentrations and in no area limit place with suitable length. Vertical adverse biotrickling filter is more suitable for area limited place, high concentration and the large flowing with higher cost. When the biofilm thickness exceeds range, the filter should immediately stop running and washing.
