Radiation ovens have drawn a great consideration due to their low energy consumption, safe use and the better curing process in comparison with other kinds of ovens. Providing proper thermal conditions for the curing body in the oven environment is of great importance. Engaging with variable parameters, designing radiation ovens are more complicated relative to other kinds. In the present study a numerical approach of finite surface element method for optimal designing of radiation ovens are proposed. Temperature of heaters at the oven ceiling is the design parameter. Quasi -Newtonian approach is applied for determination of heaters' temperature to achieve an acceptable curing process.Definition of the objective function is completely discussed and effects of two significant concepts of equivalent isentropic time and temperature on objective function behavior are comprehensively studied. Applying equivalent isentropic temperature concept, result in long-lasting convexity treatment of the objective function. Paint cure process is assessed through paint cure window criterion.
