An experimental investigation of the forming limit diagram (FLD) for law carbon steel (DIN1623-St 13). The main objective of this work was to determine the forming limit diagram for low carbon (DIN1623-St 13 CD) using (tensile strength and deep drawing test). This diagram is found by practical experiments done on two cases of different test are studied. The first case “tensile specimens group” where a pattern of circle grids is stamped on. Then tensile test is done to them. After that, the change happened in circles was measured and therefore major and minor strains were calculated. The effect of various thicknesses on forming limit diagram is studied. The second case” deep drawing specimens” a pattern of square grids was stamped on them. After applying the deep drawing, the same steps are taken to determine the forming limit diagram.
