The present work deals with experimental investigation in the effect of MQL jet on various work material and cutting tool with respect to different responses. The results include significant reduction in temperature, force, dimensional deviation, surface roughness and tool wear rate by MQL. So, it can be concluded that considering all responses MQL for medium carbon steel shows better reduction when using uncoated carbide SNMM insert and on the other hand for the case of uncoated carbide SNMG insert MQL for alloy steel AISI 4320 is most effective.
