In this paper, a new approach based on independent component analysis (ICA) to against interference while being in the envelope analysis of rolling element bearing is proposed. It can remove the disturbance from the mixed vibration signals according to the difference of vibration sources. Brief introductions about the theories of ICA and envelope analysis are also presented. The test results verified the validity of the proposed approach.
