In order to estimate the effect of geometric error sources and to compensate the geometric error, a systematic approach for error modeling is presented to build a integrated geometric error model. The error sources are categorized and the error model is analyzed to get simplified. A compensation method according to the error model is also proposed. Simulation results prove the validity of the analysis and effectiveness of the compensation method.
