This study purposed a low cost data acquisition system based on PIC32MX460F512L microcontrollers for Remote Data Acquisition System (RDAQ) like wind energy where moderate accuracy is required. Data acquisition is performed by inbuilt ten bits ADC converter of the microcontroller. Time mechanism is provided by in built Real Time Clock (RTC). An ENC28J60 Ethernet controller is used for interfacing with Internet network. This system also stores data in USB flash drive for backup data to increase reliability of system.
