In order to solve the problem of adjusting the poles distance during the aluminum electrolysis responses, it needs to design a laboratory lifter and improve the process of the electrolytic aluminum by simulating. This paper analyzed the structure and working principle of the electrolytic cell lifter control system. The model of dynamic characteristics of asymmetric cylinder controlled by symmetric four-way valve of the system was established. The control performance of the system was simulated and analyzed.
