Ionospheric dispersion effects on SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) range echo are analyzed. A robust algorithm to estimate total electron contents (TEC) along the propagation path form the wideband SAR echo is proposed. The estimation precision is high enough to remove dispersion effects on spaceborne P band SAR.
