In this paper, we apply the generalized modified F-expansion method to seek exact solutions of (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. As a result, many solutions are successfully obtained with the aid of symbolic computation, including soliton-like solutions, trigonometric function solutions, exponential solutions. Some of them are found for the first time.
