The system safety risk is the significant basis for being acquainted with the safety status of system and avoiding serious accident. For the sake of assessing the real-time safety risk, this paper proposes a real-time risk assessment method which is on the basis of analyzing the risk factors of system and presenting typical model of risk factors, and which executes the real-time safety risk assessment of system based on the combination of event tree and fault tree. Simultaneously we discuss the difficulty in the real-time assessment. In order to express the method explicitly, a case is used to explain the mind of real-time risk assessment.
