Taking into account all evidential results relating to low toxicity of APTES-modified and unmodified silica nanoparticles with a radius of 50 nm, its intensive interaction with the peritoneal macrophages, as well as the absence of the pronounced effect of the silica nanoparticles on the expression of functional receptors by the macrophages, and significant positive effect of free GMDP upon scavenger function of the peritoneal macrophages during endometriosis, it can be concluded that it is possible to try to increase the GMDP influence on macrophages by immobilization the GMDP on the silica nanoparticles. As significant difference in physical chemical and biological properties of the Fru-silica and Suc-silica was not revealed, the latter was chosen for further studies.

6.1 Immobilization of GMDP on silica nanoparticles
6.2 Comparative study of the effects of free GMDP and GMD immobilized on silica nanoparticles on the functional state of peritoneal macrophages
