Considering APTES-, PEI-modified as well as unmodified (Fru-silica and Suc-silica) silica nanoparticles as the potential carriers for drugs, an attempt was made to study the character of the silica particles interaction with different types of immune system cells. There are many human diseases associated with the impairment of the immune response and new approaches to the correction of immune cells function using nano-bio-technologies are intensively investigated now.

4.1 Intensity of different silica nanoparticles uptake by immune cells
4.2 Influence of silica nanoparticles on parameters of functional activity of peritoneal macrophages
