Single Rivet-Row Lap Joints. Tables A.2 and A.3 present a summary of the calculations done for single rivet-row lap joints with standard and countersunk heads, respectively. Table A.7 in Appendix A shows the calculations performed for evaluation of the effects of interference and clamping on single rivet-row lap joints. The finite element models used to obtain these data are described in detail in Chapter 13; the material properties for the various models are described in Chapter 15.

Double Rivet-Row Lap Joints. Table A.4 in Appendix A presents a summary of the calculations done for double rivet-row lap joints. The finite element models used to obtain these data are described in detail in Chapter 13; the material properties for the various models are described in Chapter 15.

The content of this chapter is taken from References [1,13–17,19,20,35].
