It is a tremendous honor to receive the H.R. Lissner Medal from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, celebrated at the 2019 SB3C (Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering, and Biotransport Conference) in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania. An overview of the presentation delivered, entitled "3D Computational Modeling of the Three Legged Stool", is captured here. This begins with a background on the individual for whom this medal is named, followed by an overview of my professional work in teaching, scholarship, and service, continuing with my deep respect for mentors and colleagues, before ending with family, the future, and the Final Analysis.
