Many assemblies to be joined specify induction heating as the process to fabricate these brazements. In the induction brazing process the surfaces of the components to be joined and the brazing filler metal, are heated selectively at the joint area to the brazing temperature. This noncontact method is accomplished by means of inducing electrical energy in to the assembly using an induction coil or inductor. Induction brazing can be implemented in manual, mechanized, semi-automated, and automated production modes.
