A workshop on “Autonomous Industrial Vehicles: From the Laboratory to the Factory Floor” was held at the 2015 Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers International Conference on Robotics and Automation. Nine research papers were presented, followed by a discussion session. All of the findings are summarized in this chapter and are intended to be used in the standards development process within ASTM International Committee F45 Driverless Automatic Guided Industrial Vehicles. This paper provides feedback from the discussion and suggests recommendations for standards that evolved from the discussion.
