This study evaluated the fit of protective coveralls produced to a proposed revision of ANSI/ISEA 101 developed for a unisex garment. Coveralls from 3 manufacturers which meet the Standard were evaluated with 166 men and women. Garments in the mid range of the sizing standard fit better than the extreme small or large sizes. Subjects wearing the extra small size found them too large and there were problems with the fit of the extra extra large sized garments. For satisfactory fit the dimensional specifications for those sizes need to be adjusted to fit men and women.
