This paper presents data from four recognized methods of conducting compression tests. The data suggest that the initial modulus of elasticity is not sensitive to the test method. The strength of our different materials was measured in three round robin tests. These data suggest that end loading composites lead to low values but that the other methods measure equivalent strengths.
