Polarography is an instrumental method of qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis. It is based on the interpretation and evaluation of current-voltage curves called polarograms. These curves are obtained during the electroreduction or electrooxidation of an electroactive substance at a dropping mercury or other microelectrode.
