The Coordinating Research Council automotive emission research program, supported by the American Petroleum Institute, the Automobile Manufacturers Association, and the National Air Pollution Control Administration, is completing its third year of work. Some thirty projects in the categories of engineering, atmospheric, and medical research are being undertaken under contract with research institutes, universities, government, and industrial laboratories. Results obtained will provide industry and government with technical information to aid in further reducing automotive emissions.
