A layered, isotropic, and infinite elastic plate which has periodic cracks (debondings) between the layers is considered. The plate is subjected to a surface traction. The traction is spatially sinusoidal but is oriented arbitrarily. A solution for the particle displacement is obtained in form of a Fourier series expansion which accounts for the field singularities at the edges of the cracks. An average elastic property (homogenization) of the sample plate is discussed.
