Abstract
In the following a few simpler cases of the slow flow of solids with particular reference to the creep of metals in the strain-hardening range are treated. These means should permit considering the effect of strain hardening when discussing observations on creep. Creep tests with soft and strain-hardened copper at room temperature are included.
