Abstract
Various torque-measuring devices are described briefly and a more detailed description is given of the recently developed “magnetic-coupled” torquemeter. This new-device operates on a rotating shaft without brushes or slip rings and is particularly applicable where high speeds and severe operating conditions are encountered.
