Now the choice of wearproof materials is carried out, basically, experimentally, i.e. empirically and on the basis of their volumetric and superficial properties. However, metallic or organic materials which properties considerably differ are maintained in many tribosystems. Therefore only properties are the insufficient information for selection of wearproof materials. In the present work it is offered to choose wearproof materials on the basis of their ability to initiate nonequilibrium processes at friction.
