Wave dissipation in arteries was intensively studied previously in the frequency domain, which focused on the waves with “pushing effect”. Meanwhile, we noted that waves with “suction effect” are observed in pulmonary veins [1], and in coronary arteries [2]. In spite of this, the dissipation of “suction waves” has not been studied before.
