In this study, dynamic analysis of supported pipes conveying fluid is investigated in Hamiltonian system using precise time step integration method (PTSIM). Firstly, vibration equations of supported pipes are discretized using the state variable vectors composed of displacement and momentum. Then, PTSIM is introduced briefly and used to solve nonlinear symplectic canonical equations with linear approximation formula. Finally, the precision of this approach is testified by numerical examples of pinned-pinned pipes with different fluid parameters. The results show that PTSIM is an efficient and stable approach for vibration analysis of fluid-conveying pipes.
