Abstract

For a new type of air conditioner, we apply a Pitot tube type compressor based on our CCUS development. It uses water as a medium, not CFCs. Water is circulated through a loop pipe with a small hole, air is aspirated from the hole, and that air is accumulated and compressed in a tank on the line. This aspiration effect is known as the Pitot tube effect. Since the air is directly compressed by the flowing water, the air does not flow back, so the efficiency is extremely high. The Coefficient of Performance is expected to exceed 10. When this compressed air is exposed to the atmosphere, a low temperature below 0 °C is achieved. It is intended for air conditioners and refrigerators for homes and businesses from several kW to several 100 kW. When water vapor in the air condenses due to air volume expansion, carbon dioxide in the air is also recovered in that condensed water. This air conditioner contributes to global warming countermeasures by saving energy and recovering carbon dioxide.
