Research on Offshore Engineering Equipment Industry in Shandong Based on Sustainable Development Available to Purchase

Offshore engineering equipment industry is at the core of the marine industry value chain and an important foundation for the development of blue economy. Shandong was selected as the research area in this paper. Comprehensive strength of five industries — offshore oil and gas industry, offshore electric power industry, offshore fishery, offshore mining industry and offshore seawater utilization industry were analyzed from three dimensions of resource endowment, industrial development level and existing production capacity. Based on sustainable development, development suggestions of offshore equipment industry in Shandong were given.
