Abstract

A hydraulic system for large cylindrical hull segmentation docking and correcting is developed. This system measures the roundness error of the hull before the welding phase and then corrects it by cold-pressed deformation and hydraulically locked until the end of the welding. The automation of the hull docking and correcting is implemented, the work efficiency and the accuracy of the hull manufacturing are improved. The design of the hydraulic system for docking and correcting and the simulation of it in AMESim are mainly introduced in this paper.
