This paper considers the dynamic response of an example minimum structure, in this case a monopod, for conditions typical of the North West Shelf of Australia. The dynamic response is assessed using both conventional 3 hour storm simulation techniques, and the Constrained NewWave methodology. The results from both analyses are found to be comparable in terms of the DAF value that was found. The structure was found to have significant dynamic response, particularly as the wave return period increased.
