Improving Internal Combustion Engines Efficiency by Using a Spring/Damper

Piston engines are widely used in automobiles. Increasing engine efficiency and decreasing environmental pollution which is made by these engines, are always the most important concerns of automobile manufacturers. In this paper a new way to increase efficiency of piston engines and decrease their environmental pollution is proposed. In this method, a spring/damper is used instead of connection rod in the structure of piston in these engines.
