In a roll-to-roll printed electronics system, the matching state of two rolls is critical to increase the printing precision by uniformizing the printing pressure. To investigate the matching state of two rolls, the shape information of each roll was measured. Based on the measurement data, the variance in the axial distance of two rolls is taken into consideration. The results show that the uniformity of the printing pressure is increased through the shape measurement and matching of two rolls. In addition, the geometric relation between two rolls was estimated to apply to a control system to decrease the non-uniformity of the printing pressure.
