Effect of Impeller Cutdown on Developed Head

This paper discusses the manner, in which a new approach towards calculating the head developed by a centrifugal impeller can be applied towards predicting the head developed by a pump with a cut-down impeller.

A comparison with actual test-data demonstrates, that this approach is capable to produce more reliable results, than any of the presently known methods.
