A Moore-Greitzer-typed model is established for a compression system with wet compression in this paper, which can reveal effects of wet compression on transients of this compression system when surge or rotating stall occurs. Simulation results show that wet compression affects compressor stable characteristic greatly, as a result post-stall transients of this system will be changed when wet compression is used and what is more interesting is that under some situations wet compression can be used to eliminate surge and rotating stall.
