Abstract

Due to the identical operator form of the linear general integral equation (GIE) proposed for both local micromechanics (LM) and peridynamic micromechanics (PM) of composite materials (CM), the methods of LM have easily recast into the following PM methods:

• Fast Fourier transform (FFT) method,

• Transformation field analysis (TFA),

• Estimation of effective energy-based criteria,

• Effective behavior of CM due to the body force with a compact support,

• Laminate theory.
