Abstract

In this paper, a large generator rotor with complex clearance is taken as the research object, and the dynamic analysis model of this rotor is established. This study focuses on the prediction of the contact stiffness of its widely distributed contact interface and the cross-scale interstitial stiffness of the rotor. Furthermore, the dynamic characteristics of torsional under typical rotor state are studied, and the combined rotor of large generator is tested and verified. Through theoretical analysis and experimental study, the influence mechanism of clearance on dynamic characteristics of large generator rotor is revealed.
